Here are a couple of pictures of my recently completed project bike. This is a completely new 1980 Sportster, all parts having been replaced. It currently has 0 miles on it! The wheels, frame, oil tank and both side covers are completely powder coated black. We used a Mikuni HSR42 carb. All hardware is new, we even modified the footpeg mount off my 1999 Sportster to fit with "regular" mount foot pegs. Cost for the 1980 bike was $5100 CDN (about $3500 US), total project cost was about $15,000 CDN, about $10,000 U.S.
