Dwayne's 1977 Harley Davidson Sportster

Dwayne's 1977 Harley Davidson Sportster

Attached are some recent photos of my '77 XLCH Sportster. I built this bike from scratch by gathering parts at swap meets and on eBay. A real learning experience when dealing with a '77.
The photo of the parts was on day #1. Just back from the Keene, NH swap meet.

The paint is House of Colors Blue Marble. The photos don't do it justice but you'll get the idea.

The engine is completely new with Wiseco pistons, stock Harley valve train, and a Crane Cams HI-4 single fire ignition.

The front end is off of a '73. The fork lowers have been turned down in a lathe to remove the marker light pads. This, and all of the frame modifications were done by J&P Chassiswerks. All of the unobtainable parts were given to me by my friend Mark D. who is without a doubt the ultimate Ironhead junkie.
